Youth Bible Study / Group Discussion: OPEN TO PUBLIC

Bristol Outreach, Inc. invites area youth to a study/discussion: "Bullying On The Internet."  A wicked messenger falls into trouble but a trustworthy envoy brings healing.  Proverbs 13:17

SAFE YOU~SAFE ME~SAFE WE Pledge cards: Students from schools around the tri cities will participate in Week Without Violence by signing pledge cards against violence for a safer school and community. Each student who makes the pledge will receive “peace” incentives as a reminder to be a part of the ongoing need to be respectful and accepting of differences of others and pledge against bullying and physical violence. Participating schools are: Anderson, Avoca, Fairmount, Haynesfield and Holston View Elementary and Blountville, Bluff City, Holston Valley, Sullivan, Vance and Virginia Middle. Participating agencies and youth groups are Bristol Outreach, Inc, Girls Incorporated of Bristol, and Big Brother Big Sister of Tri Cities.

YWCA Peace Pole Dedication
The Peace Pole Project is an official project of The World Peace Prayer Society (WPPS) headquartered at The World Peace Sanctuary in Wassaic, NY. WPPS is a non profit, member supported, non-sectarian organization with NGO status at the United Nations. The sole mission of WPPS is to unite people across the world through the universal peace message, "May Peace Prevail on Earth." YWCA Tech GYRLS will be dedicating a peace pole on the downtown campus with English, Cherokee, Spanish and Sign Language.
